TRANSCRIPT:

Dr. Pompa:
Well, welcome. I am here with honestly, one of my favorite people in the world, Ben Azadi. Dude you know I have such a heart for you. I am so excited that you are here for the people watching this. I’m so excited for you to be at the seminar. I’ve shared stages with you. And your stages that you’re speaking on are just blowing up. For good reason. For good reason, because your message is that good. And these people that are going to come to this seminar, they’re going to hear you and say, “Oh my gosh! You okay? I want to know everything this guy knows.” And you said that about me some years ago. I want to know everything this guy knows.

But Ben, thanks for being here. And you’re known for Keto Kamp. Look, you have two talks, you are that important at this seminar that you have two talk? You have a keto talk, which okay. People heard about keto this and that. So I can promise you folks, it’s not what you think. And then we’re going to talk about, you were one of the fastest growing social media followings, YouTube followings last year for good reason. And you have a formula and you’re going to be sharing that at the seminar.

And folks, the link for the seminar to join us, a very small group, capping it at a hundred is below and there is an early registration discount. So check it out. Small group of us, man. You’re going to be able to just be with us in a very close environment and that’s really important. So Ben, let’s start with keto. I don’t want to bore people. Keto, really don’t we know everything? But yet, keto is such a major tool in our practices and how we use it. But you teach a lot of different spins on it, man. What are you going to share?

Ben Azadi:
Yeah. I can’t wait Dr. Pompa. And I’m so grateful for you, you’ve changed my life. So thank you for that warm introduction. It’s going to be an amazing event. I’m excited to see the other speakers speak, including yourself. So I’m going to get into keto. And as we know, keto is all the rage. These days, we go on Dr. Google, we type in, what is the keto diet? We’ll get over 200 million results. And it’s really enough to confuse people. Everybody teaches it a different way, and we teach it from the approach of the way that our ancestors did it.

We know that keto is not a diet, it’s a metabolic process. And if you use this tool the right way, you could get extreme healing. Your inflammation levels will drop, fat loss will occur. You could detox much better. Your brain turns back on, but you got to use it the right way. Just like a chainsaw is a great tool, if you don’t know how to use a chainsaw, you’re going to hurt yourself. So I’ll be sharing the secrets on how I’m able to use it and apply it to thousands of people so they could get rid of the symptom. Because we know the symptoms are far removed from the cause, and a great way to remove the cause is to use a tool like keto.

Dr. Pompa:
Yeah. obviously, some people watching this know my diet variation strategy. And you made it so much easier clinically around those strategies that we know work. We know that when people just stay in keto, which is very popular, problems arise. We know that people with hormone challenges, whether it’s thyroid problems, adrenal issues, women in general, all can struggle with keto. And what we’ve figured out as a group, and I believe you have been the one that’s made it so simple to just put into a practice, and obviously that’s what you’re going to be sharing. But that’s the key.

So it’s not just keto, that’s why I made the point in the beginning. It’s like, oh, you think you know about keto? It’s like, oh yeah. Just lower your carbs, eat fat. It’s not what you think because you can make a lot of people worse. I think one of the things that you’ve done magically is really just the strategies of how to package this and how to put it into clinical practice.

Ben Azadi:
Yeah. Thank you. And you’re so right. You can make somebody feel worse. I’ve seen that. I’ve seen people come to me and say, “I did keto and I felt like crap.” And I’m going to share why. There are a few reasons, the most popular reasons I’m going to get into during the seminar. We’ll talk about the relationship between the bile in the liver and how that’s important for breaking down fat. We’ll talk about electrolytes. We’ll talk about toxins. And then we’ll get into what you said, I call it Keto Flexing, which is the name of my new book that you wrote the forward to. It’s your diet variation principle. I just put a different name on it. So I’ll get into that. How to apply keto, whether you’re a man, a woman, what age you are. So we’ll get into all that at the seminar.

Dr. Pompa:
Yeah. It’s awesome. It’s awesome work. And people need to know this, honestly, really. People really need to know it. When we look at keto, I think one, there’s a lot of misconceptions just about what keto is. High fat, low fat, this fat, all the different diets. One of which now is kind of stemmed off of keto. I don’t know. For me, it’s been around a while, but I think people think it’s extreme keto carnivore. I don’t know if you’re going to tap into this at all at the seminar, but you have done carnivore diets. So we might want to start with what it is. Why you and I believe it’s a really sharp tool in our shed, but we also don’t agree with a lot that’s out there about carnivores, but tell them your own experience. And again, I don’t know if you’re getting into this seminar at all.

Ben Azadi:
Yeah. It’s part of the keto flexing. So absolutely, I’m going to touch upon that. As you know, I had my 40 days back in 2020 last year and I was actually with you for part of it. We were in Sarasota hanging out, going to restaurants and doing the carnivore deal. It was extremely healing for me. I did lab work on day one, on day 40 and also I just wanted to see how my body responded to it. So my energy levels increased, my fat loss decreased, my auto-immune systems symptoms decreased. My skin looked better. I was getting all these comments on social media about my skin complexion. And it was a great tool for me. And I’m going to share how to actually apply it into the mix of a keto flex approach at the seminar.

Dr. Pompa:
Yeah. That’s awesome. And that’s the thing. I hope everyone hears that. It’s like just putting someone on a carnivore diet. There’s so many misconceptions about what it is, how to do it, how to utilize it as a tool, but I’ll tell you there’s something so powerful about utilizing keto, utilizing carnivore and even plant-based diets and even high carb diets. You put it together in such a usable format. Recently, I just had a client stuck in auto-immune. Major. This poor young girl, literally, so sick that her body attacking itself, gut did it all. This girl, she’s the kind of person that you tell her to stand on her head in the corner for 10 minutes, she’ll stand there all day on her head, if need to be. But carnivore changed her.

And again, we moved in and out of the carnivore diet, moved her in and out of keto, moved her in and out of different plant-based diets, but it was the key to stopping her auto-immune. And I’ll tell you, I just got off an interview with Dr. Michael Stewart, remember he was on our call, and talking about the mRNA vaccine. Where experts believe an onslaught of auto-immune is coming from the people that are in the experiment group here, the phase three trial, if you will, of getting this vaccine. We discussed it at length. If you haven’t seen the video, all the links to all the videos and some of the interviews will be below. Watch it.

But the point I want to make is that many of experts feel that this is going to lead to even a greater explosion of auto-immune, and we need to understand these tools to break people out of auto-immune. And Ben, that was kind of your experience. What brought you here was neurotoxic induced auto-immune and the carnivore diet knocked you out of the Raynaud’s. You could speak to that a little bit.

Ben Azadi:
Yeah. Exactly. I had mercury, silver fillings in my mouth for 20 plus years. So I had mercury poisoning. I had mold exposure, so I cleaned that up and I’m still working on it. But I was still getting these auto-immune symptoms from my Raynaud’s, where my hands would go numb a little bit, not enough blood flow, they would turn white and blue. And then after eating, I would get a flare up of inflamed fingers. And I even showed you one time, I was asking you, “Why does this happen? I’m eating clean.” So when I went into carnivore, I was getting a flare up pretty much every single day for months. Some days it would be worse than others, but I would get a flare up every day.

On 43 days of carnivore, I only had two small flare ups the entire time. And I’ve been off of it now for several months, and the flare ups are much less frequent. So now I’m using carnivore as a tool to revisit. I might be doing carnivore during the seminar. I don’t know. We’ll see if I want to throw it in there, but that’s the way that we use it. We look at them as tools and you might want to be on it longer than somebody else or shorter. It depends on your history and all that. So for me, it was super healing to my auto-immune.

Dr. Pompa:
Yeah. Y’all need these tools as you can see, especially for what’s coming. And our goal is to obviously give you these tools and make them usable and easy to use in your practice. Look, we can have the greatest answer in the world if we don’t or can’t bring it to the world, what good is it? You and I spoke on a stage together in Tampa. I guess it was in spring, right? It was the beginning of COVID or at least… Well, I wouldn’t say the beginning, it was probably midway. But I asked a show of hands of how many docs in the room have a social media following. I don’t know. Did three hands go up? It was very few.

Ben Azadi:
Yeah. It was very, very few.

Dr. Pompa:
Yeah. And I think some of the comments as we dug down a little deeper later were, well, really, I just want to focus on my community. And my point was, oh! Well then, why aren’t you building a following or a social media following, because how do people find you today? They Google, chiropractor or doctor or functional medicine doctor in and they put in the area. And guess who wins that war? The person with the greatest following.

So whether you’re trying to affect a local community or have a greater impact of the world, and you’re going to also hear from Ben and Dr. Mindy Pelts of how to build a virtual clinic more on that, even membership programs. But Ben you’ve had one of the fastest growing social medias. I’ve watched it. I’ve watched it happen. I always say, if you can do it, anyone can do it. If I can do it, anyone can do it. But you’ve developed a formula. I did that, but I never developed a formula. That’s what you’re going to be teaching. So share, because it’s easier than people think today anyway.

Ben Azadi:
Yeah. Yeah. Absolutely. You’re so right Dr. Pompa. Right now more than ever, we have this message that a lot of people are not speaking about. We are the rare in the world right now. And if you cannot deliver that message, then a lot of this will be to no avail. So we want to make sure we’re able to have a great platform to do that and we do with social media. For me, YouTube has been a great platform. I’ve been able to really help my local community as well as the worldwide community getting this message out there. And in Utah, I’m going to share the step-by-step solution to do this.

How did I do it? 117,000 subscribers in two years. 40,000 new emails. And that’s without spending a cent on marketing, on ads or anything that. So I’m going to lay it all out. I’m going to share what I did. And the cool thing about it is once you master this platform called YouTube, I’m also going to share how you could repurpose all that content to all the other platforms so you’re not spending time recreating it. It’s already done. And now you have evergreen content that you could repurpose, and I’m going to share exactly how to do that.

Dr. Pompa:
Yeah. So that type of following, you must have at least 20 employees that are right there with you doing all that. How many employees do you have, Ben?

Ben Azadi:
Well, I have six right now and they’re all part-time. So not 20 and I don’t have to have an overhead to pay them either.

Dr. Pompa:
Yeah. Exactly. Well, one of the things you’re going to share I know, is how you use people off shore for a lot of the work. And there’s good ones. There’s bad ones. You’ve been through them, but people need to know that stuff, man. Again, it’s not what you think.

Ben Azadi:
Yeah. I’m going to share that. I’m going to share exactly how to look for those individuals off shore. And you could spend a third of the cost and get some really good people to help you out with your message.

Dr. Pompa:
One of the things that I’ve stole from you and you’ve probably heard it somewhere too, is the riches are in the niches. And I know you’d talk a little bit about that. And that’s been for me too. Knowing who you are, knowing your message and delivering that I think is a key, because when I watch people, they miss that, man. They have that one thing and they’re trying to be the Jack of all trades, I would say. That is definitely a mistake for chiropractors is they try to be the Jack of all trades instead of a very clear message. You teach that.

Ben Azadi:
Yeah. Exactly. When I started to get clear on what the area I wanted to focus on, which was keto and fasting, it just skyrocketed my reach and my growth because people knew what they were going to get. They didn’t have to think about it. They showed up to my page, to my social media, to my YouTube, whatever it was and they saw it right from the beginning. And they know that that’s what they’re going to receive, which was keto and fasting. Before that, I would speak about so many different areas, sleep and mindset and the different topics. And I love speaking about that and I’ll still sprinkle it in there, but once I got clear on my niche, it just accelerated. So I’m going to explain that. I’m going to share some of the lessons I’ve learned over the years with that.

Dr. Pompa:
No, exactly. You speak on that. I do videos on those topics because people are interested in it, but you have to bring it back to your niche. And that’s what your followers want to hear. It’s amazing. Right now, I’m doing this from Tulum, Mexico. I call this dog heaven. And my dog, I don’t know if he’s walked by yet, but they’re here in Tulum, Mexico. The reason I call it dog heaven is because they can walk around without leashes on. They walk the beach. My dog leaves in the morning, he comes back, but I call it Instagram and Snapchat hell, because everywhere around here okay. There’s some of the hottest Instagram places. Let me decline this. Everybody is taking their picture of this and that. I’m thinking to myself, it really is annoying to me, I have to say, that’s why I call it Snapchat hell.

But it’s like when you actually have a message, social media is an absolute blessing. But here, all I see is the curse. But obviously, someone like yourself, it brings a message to the world through it. It really is astounding. I’m watching these people take these pictures of themselves, nauseatingly, but they’re going out to the world. Some of these girls get these things out to the world. But I think that we need to understand this platform, man, it’s the future, isn’t it?

Ben Azadi:
It’s the future. And you’re right. It’s a blessing and a curse. So we want to do, I’m going to teach this. We want to be able to not consume social media, we want to use it. We don’t want it to use us. And I’m going to explain that. For example, when you start to grow and you apply the principles that I’m going to share, you’re going to get more comments on your pages. You’re going to get more things and people need a response, which will help you grow. And I’m going to share that. But I’m also going to share that that doesn’t necessarily need to be you to respond. You could set up the system, you could have your team do it all for you. I have my team doing it right now. I’m getting comments right now on YouTube. And I have somebody replying, linking it to other videos. So I’m going to share strategies just like that.

Dr. Pompa:
Yeah. You’ve got the system. All right. One reason. One reason why you believe that these folks need to come here. The amazing speaker lineup at this seminar, what is it?

Ben Azadi:
Well, I’ve been in the health space since 2008, what’s that, 12, 13 years? I’ve studied a lot of individuals, read a lot of books. I’ve probably studied on average three hours per day for the last 11, 12 years. And I say that not to impress, I say to impress upon that I’ve done a lot of research and I’ve explored other programs. I’m taking courses. I’ve seen people speak, but it wasn’t until I saw you, Dr. Pompa and the health centers for the future back in Boca a few years ago. Just the first two hours. I learned more in the first two hours than I learned prior to seven or eight years that I’d been studying the space. And it was just a feeling in my heart that just rose up, this feeling of energy, I wanted to be a part of this.

I didn’t know how. I didn’t know what. I didn’t really know much about the program. But I said, I need to be a part of this. And I became a part of it. And it’s been the greatest decision I ever made. I learned more in that weekend than I learned my entire life, because what we talk about now, I could say we, is upstream. It’s things that a lot of even alternative doctors and nutritionists are not speaking about. So these two days, not only are we going to talk about health, but we’re going talk about business. We’re going to talk about all areas that apply, that you could apply right away. And it’s a must attend event. I’m personally so excited to be there to learn from others, to see you speak, who I believe you’re the greatest speaker in the planet. So it’s a must attend event. You got to be there.

Dr. Pompa:
Well, I appreciate it, but I feel the same way. I love the seminars. I miss them, frankly. I miss spending time, just that masterminding that occurs in the seminar. This is going to be, we’re capping it at a hundred people. So it’s going to be a small enough group that we’re going to have that the whole weekend, which is going to be extraordinary. It’s going to be a really awesome event. But like you, I suck up the knowledge. We have a message. You’re right. Functional medicine has turned into just pill pushing, test taking, genetic stuff, this stuff, fancy this, fancy that, but you know what? It’s pulled away from what got my life back in years.

And that’s really getting to the cause and doing it correctly. So you’re going to hear plenty of that folks. But Ben, thank you. And I cannot wait. These people are going to be blessed when they hear you. That’s for darn sure. Click the link below, the early bird gets the worm in this case, because you’re going to get the best special. Awesome. Come join us and hang with us. Your life will change. Your practice will definitely change. Hope to see you there.

Ben Azadi:
That was fantastic.
